Preview Eight- Book Six, Anchient Gardner

“Regardless,” Emanuel interjected, “Archangels are serious about their domain. We need to go, before someone catches us,”

“It’s too late for that little one…” A voice boomed from the thunder and lightning ripping through the heavens, shaking the tree from root to crown. Suddenly, a pillar of bright light appeared behind the group, casually advancing like a predator closing-in on it’s trapped prey.

“We’re done for!” Emanuel cried as he hugged his sisters, causing The Six to freeze in sheer panic.

“Nonesense,” The voice of Red-Nax’Ela softly said as the pillar of light diffused into the image of a powerful woman wearing a golden M-suit. A the brilliance of the lighted being retreated into the translucient flesh, it retreated into the body of a man, revealing him to be Red-Nax’Ela .

“Oh my…” Mariel said, “You scared me.”

“Red-Nax’Ela ?” Emanuel asked, “What are you doing here?”

Red-Nax’Ela turned into a divine female version of itself, and asked with an amused smile, “What are you doing here?”

“We don’t even know where here is,” Uriel boldly said, “And what the hell was all that thunder and lightning about? Was that… was that you?”

“It was,” Red-Nax’Ela winked at the three hosts while transforming into a man again. Michael and Brielle exchanged quick amused glances, knowing Uriel was dying to ask about the being’s frequent changing of gender.

“Why? You could’ve given us heart attacks!” Brielle complained.

“Theactrics… I love theactrics,” Red-Nax’Ela replied.
